Thanks to Rob Leduc for bring our attention to this newspaper clipping. Matt Pelletier won the Blessing of the Fleet 10 Mile Road Race in Narragensett, RI last July in 50:01. Oh so very close to breaking that magical 50 minute barrier for 10 miles.

And Matty P did it all while wearing the Level singlet. Many thanks to him for that! It was a stacked field too, featuring future USATF-NE half marathon champ Brian Doyle, along with Julian Saad, Sam “FarmStrong” Alexander and Pat Moulton.

Best of luck to Matty P, whom we can only assume is taking to the roads once again in RI tomorrow night for the very same race, and everyone else lining up for it!
